Popularized throughout Korea’s famed beauty industry, this innovative, high-tech therapy uses a two-part system to treat a wide variety of skin conditions including acne, hyper-pigmentation, sun damage, and more!
Step #1: Mist
First, oxygen flows through a handheld mist applicator (similar to an airbrush attachment). This applicator lightly blasts a mix of customized serums and concentrated oxygen across your face – a process that promotes cellular turnover and destroys acne-causing bacteria on the skin.
With this step, you get a two-for-one. The customized serums infuse the epidermis with skin-boosting formulas while the mist of refined oxygen and negative ions work to improve discoloration, hyperpigmentation, and revitalize tone and texture.
Step #2: Dome
During the next step of your oxygen dome facial, the aesthetician will apply a mask to your skin and then place the dome-shaped attachment over your face. This bubble-like oxygen dome is connected to a machine that converts outside air into pure oxygen at a 90%-concentration level. The device also introduces anions and negative ions into the oxygen stream. *Anions (a.k.a. negative ions or “air vitamins”) are used in certain types of air purifiers to free inside spaces of airborne allergens, pollens, bacteria, and more. When this technology is used in the oxygen dome, anions activate cell renewal and boost the immune system.
For 15 to 20 minutes, the dome will remain over your face and provide an in-depth exposure to the oxygenated air and other beneficial substances. During this step, you will inhale purified air which helps improve circulation and increase energy levels.
What are the benefits of getting an oxygen dome facial?
Because anions and oxygen are absorbed through layers of skin and breathed in through the respiratory system, there is a broad range of benefits available from this treatment.
Benefits for the Skin
Stabilizes free radicals in skin cells.
Regenerates damaged skin cells.
Rebalances pH levels.
Destroys acne-causing bacteria.
Reduces hyperpigmentation.
Boosts collagen production.
Improves tone and texture

It is important to take note that Oxygen Dome Therapy is different from HydraFacials which is a form of dermabrasion.
